New Testament 2 at John Knox Theological College

In New Testament 2 lectures, a broad overview of the contents of the New Testament corpus will be presented. Then each book is discussed individually with reference to its authorship, occasion of writing, character, content and literary form, with attention to chronological and geographical matters where applicable. Particular attention will be given, inter alia, to the Synoptic problem, textual variants like the sometimes controversial ending of Mark’s gospel, and finishing with a consideration of the unity and testimony of the New Testament.
