Church History 4 at John Knox Theological College
Dr Martin Lloyd-Jones once wrote, “Knowledge of the Lord always leads to, and stimulates, an interest in history”Christians who desire grounding in Scripture should have a deep interest in the progress of the Christian church and faith through the ages.
The Church History course covers 4 semesters and deals with the whole Christian era in 4 divisions - Ancient, Medieval, Reformation and Modern periods.
Church History 4 deals with the Modern Period. It is not a prerequisite for further studies in Church History, nor does it require a prerequisite for its own study.
