About The JKTC

The Presbytery of the Presbyterian Reformed Church of Australia (PRC) established the John Knox Theological College in 1968. The College has employed for years the method, which has come to be know as “Theological Education by Flexible Learning.” Simply stated this ordinarily means that each student has the option of attending lectures or studying by correspondence each semester. In special cases, by arrangement with the Faculty, students have been able to progress through their studies at different speed. The correspondence students receive lectures, which are sent out on DVD or audio CD and recently some courses are offered Online. Administrative requirements associated with study at JKTC can all be accomplished by internet access on this site, or by postal services.

Subjects offered include: Apologetics, Church History, Greek, Hebrew, Linguistics, Missionary Principles, New Testament, Old Testament, Pastoral Theology, and Systematic Theology.
